Apple’s iPod Touch
Apple’s iPod Touch is now in its third year and have so many uses and features. Many choose the Touch for is e-mail support and Web browser but there are other who see it as a portable gaming device. And then there are those who just want the good old fashioned video playback and music. It offers 8GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities with price ranges from $199 to $399. The new model has changed little over time and whether that is good or bad is up to you. Comparing the two side by side it is hard to tell it from the second generation. The second- and third-generation models are spitting images of each other, aside from the minor etching on the back of the Touch. The Touch has the glass covered 3.5 inch screen with 480×320-pixel resolution like its sibling. Apple includes a few buttons, in spite of the touch-screen interface, which includes on the left edge a slim volume control and a hold switch at the top. Below the screen is a home button on the face of the player. Dimensions and shape remain the same and feels natural in the hand but is a little wobbly when set on a table. A universal dock connector USB cable is included, a set of white ear buds with microphone and remote on the cable.
